Death smiles at us all and I'm doing my best to smile back. OK, maybe that is a little overly theatrical but I am getting older and ready to decrease the size of my collection. I have been working for decades through sales and trades to improve the overall condition of my browning collection. This particular piece is a Safari grade 458 Winchester magnum, manufactured in 1965. Given that date, there are no issues with a salt wood stock. Serial number is 5L 32761. The rifle is in the original condition. Wood has scattered light dents and dings, but is in very nice shape. The metal work is in excellent condition. The recoil pad is original. The length of pull to the edge of the pad is 13.5 inches. I have never hunted with this rifle and only shot it several times at one visit to my range. Satisfaction is absolutely guaranteed. I want you to be as happy with this rifle as I have been.
The scope mounts are included, but the Leupold VariX III 1.5 x 5 scope is not. Scope could be included for an additional $200. Scope is in great shape.
