Description:
Greetings. I have spent many years buying and trading to upgrade the condition of my Browning collection. Now is the time to downsize. This rifle is a Browning Safari grade in 338 Winchester magnum from 1964. Serial number is 4L 28203. Given the 1964 date of manufacture, there is no issue with a salt wood stock. The rifle is all original with the exception of the recoil pad. I replaced this pad with a identical Browning 1 inch pad given that the original was quite stiff and cracked. The length of pull is original at 13.5 inches to the edge of the pad. The wood has scattered light dings and scuffs but nothing significant in terms of wear or damage. The metal is in great condition.
The scope mounts are included. The.Leupold VariX II 3 x 9 scope can be included for an additional $200.
