Hammerguns - I love hammer Purdey\'s and the bar in wood guns are in my opinion, the very best of their designs. They are extremely elegant and exquisitely made.
This one has since being in the USA had its chambers lengthened to 2 3/4" and being sleeved allows us to offer this great gun at a very attractive price. If one wanted to enter the super fun world of shooting hammer doubles this would be a great gun for that.

*Looking back over time, some of my fondest memories are shooting wild pheasant over point with my two French Brittanie\'s, Dart, and Kit. I was shooting an English hammer double! What great times. Dart is long gone, now he lies on a hill above our place overlooking us and our wild birds . Kit will join him soon I am afraid as she is going on 15.
