Description:
Winchester EARLY MODEL 52B chambered in .22 LR S/N 61818B. Mfg in 1940, the early B models retained the Model A type stock with barrel band and have a receiver mounted Lyman No 48J flip up rear adjustable peep sight and hooded, GLOBE front sight. This is a bolt action magazine fed rifle sporting a 28” HEAVY round profile target barrel. The bore is bright/mirror with STRONG RIFLING. Bases are fitted to the barrel which are suitable for the PARKER-HALE 9X "Targetscope" or Unertl/Davis Scopes. 13.5" LOP BEAUTIFUL Walnut stock, forend features a 6-position adjustable forend grip/palm swivel adapter. Includes (1)5rnd original winchester steel Magazine. Weight of the rifle is 10lb 12.3oz and the trigger breaks cleanly at 2lbs 2oz.
