Description:
Beautiful Churchill "REGAL" Quality 28ga gun. Made with 25" barrels that have concave top rib with small brass front bead. Splinter forend is checkered in point pattern with scroll engraved Anson type push button release and escutcheon. Case hardened scalloped boxlock receiver is beautifully engraved with bursts of roses and scroll with makers name in banner on sides, Fire Blued trigger plate is also scroll engraved and has "THE REGAL MODEL" on top. Gun made with double triggers, auto ejectors, auto safety. Beautiful fiddleback figured buttstock is checkered in point pattern with carved tear drops behind receiver and terminates with its original lined buttplate. Housed in a beautiful leather trunk case with canvas cover. Case with accessories as seen in the photos.
Gun remains in near mint original condition with only minor handling marks noted. Virtually all original finishes remain. Bores are brilliant and shiny. Mechanics are excellent. Gun is tight. Case is excellent.
