Description:
1917 Colt Model 1903 Pocket Hammer chambered in 38 ACP with a 4.5 inch barrel and factory original oven blue finish. Also included is the original box numbered to the gun with the paperwork shown. This is a high condition all original survivor. Almost all of the finish still retains a deep dark shine throughout. Outside of a trace of silvering at the upper part of the muzzle the leading edges are sharp. The grip straps are exceptional. As seen in the photos there are a few areas of pin prick peppering and light and scattered handling. Overall the finish rates 97%. The boare is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. The chamber area is very clean. The slide to frame fit is tight. The factory grips are exceptional with sharp checkers throughout. This is a very nice and complete 107 year old package.
