Description:
Kimber of Oregon limited edition super grade version Model 82 S prefix rifles, very limited number produced. Total number made was 535ea in .22lr, 354ea in .22 Hornet and only 88ea in .22 WMR.
This collection contains all three with matched serial numbers of 123 of each type, new and unfired in the box. These guns have never had the bolts in them to my knowledge other than factory test firing. European classic style stock is specially selected AAA claro walnut with 22 lines/inch borderless checkering and an ebony forend tip. Niedner type checkered steel buttplate. Special contoured receiver tang. These were a very limited run and only delivered to premium Kimber dealers prior to release of the Supergrade. Selling as a complete collection as they should stay together. There are only 88 sets of these rifles in existence. Have the original letter from the president of Kimber to the original purchaser when he ordered the rifles along with the catalogs and collectors books. Price is for the set of 3 rifles.
Collection includes .22lr serial number 123S-500, .22WMR serial number MS-123 and .22 Hornet serial number HS-123, all brand new in boxes. Photos don't do these rifles justice. Would be perfect for a father, son and grandson collection or for a really good group of friends to have matching serial numbers.
