Description:
This is the complete package on an older Armalite with the "US" serial number & green furniture. Unique to this one is a heavy 16" barrel that shoots one hole groups with 44.5 grains of Varget behind a Sierra 168 grain HPBT Match bullet. One of the targets is shown in the photos.
Included in the (on the gun) is a Leupold Mark 4 2.5 X 8 Scope with an illuminated reticle. These scopes are in excess of $1500 easily. The original box to the scope is included. A factory Armalite one piece mount is also included on the gun.
A custom case goes with it too. The only caveat is it was originally lazer cut when the gun had a Bushnell Elite Trophy scope on it, so there is a minor deviation in fit there. Otherwise, the case is cut to fit the gun & a harris bi-pod or 25 round magazine in one space , and a 20 round magazine in the other space.
An original 10 round magazine and another 25 round magazine are also included. So, two 25 , one 20, and one 10 round magazine are included.
I do have close to 100 rounds of precision loaded (fire formed brass to this gun) ammunition. 50 rounds of Sierra 150 gr. Spitzer & the rest are Sierra 168 gr. HPBT.
A very accurate gun. I've shot a few deer with this one. I'm thinning my collection down as I get older.
