Description:
I am listing this consignment for a customer. It's a beautiful pre '64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in .243. It's got open sights and has a Lyman adjustable peep sight installed. The serial number dates this rifle to 1956. This rifle shows some minor dings and scuffs in the wood as you might expect from a well taken care of gun that's almost 70 years old. The blueing is excellent and shows virtually no wear. The bore is bright and looks good. The barrel measures 21" and the length of pull is 13 5/8". It has a metal butt plate and swing swivels.
