I am listing this consignment for a customer. It's a beautiful post '64 Winchester Model 70 in .308. It's a very pretty gun and dates to around 1983. There are no sights but is drilled and taped for bases. The serial number dates this rifle to 1983. This rifle shows almost perfect like new wood with just the most slight indentation on the left side- far less than you expect of gun that's over 40 years old. The blueing is excellent and shows virtually no wear. The bore is bright and looks great. The barrel measures 19" and the length of pull is 13 1/2". It has a rubber butt plate and the bolt is jeweled. NOTE: The blueing is excellent and any bright spots you see in the photo on the barrel are simply glare from the lighting.
