German Third Reich MAUSER with SLING
Here we present a C&R German Third Reich Gustloff Werke “bcd/4” Code K98 Mauser Rifle manufactured circa 1943 in Suhl, Germany. This is an example of a mid-World War II K98 rifle manufactured at the Gustloff Factory. This one has the gray phosphate finish with the eagle/H marked stock, though this marking is a bit harder to see due to some light sanding and refinishing. The metal butt plate has been replaced with a Pachmayr.
The overall condition is very good. Original finish. The numbers on the bolt and receiver match. The bore is bright with sharp rifling. The laminate stock has been refinished and is solid.
