Extremely rare Frankford Arsenal .45 Revolver Ball Cartridges 3 boxes One box Dated November 1873. This is one of the earliest dates of manufacture of these cartridges. Featuring copper cases that are Benet primed. 12 cartidges per box. Boxes are cardboard with a shellaced outer coating to prevent moisture and a pull string opener. November dated box is unopened, cello wrapped and in mint condition. The second two boxes are dated 1875 again 12 per box. These are the slightly shorter less powerful cartridges that could be used in both the Colt SAA and the Schofield revolver. Both of these boxes are unopened and cello wrapped. both are in excellent condition. All three would be a great addition to any early cartidge or early Colt/Schofield collection. $1500.00 for the three includes UPS ground shipping to the lower 48.
