Smith & Wesson model 640-3 chambered in .357 Magnum. The Model 640 is a small-frame, concealed-hammer revolver that packs a full-sized punch. It is built on a reliable J-Frame and has a stainless-steel frame, barrel and cylinder. It features black blade front sight and fixed rear sight and a snag-free enclosed hammer. The .357 Magnum cartridge is based upon Smith & Wesson's earlier .38 Special cartridge and is notable for its highly effective terminal ballistics. .357 Magnum
