Description:
Belgain Browning 20 gauge Pigeon 261/2" barrels choked improved cylinder (.006") and modified (.015"). Built in 1970,this gun would have had originally a short tang, square knob stock. It now has a round knob,long tang stock. In my opinion, the gun was sent back to Browning for replacement of a salt wood stock and forend. The original owner probably asked for a long tang replacement. The stock and forend now on the gun are beautiful dark highly figured walnut and are salt free. The gun retains 99% of the origianl metal finish and shows no signs of rust or wear. The barrels have mint bores and are still tight on opening. This is the lightest Lightning 20 gauge I have ever owned. It weighs exactly 6 lbs. and handles very quickly. It will make a great little upland bird gun. Very hard to find in this condition.
