A wonderful Remington Smoot set of two excellent condition revolvers
they both have clean cylinders some minor spots of discoloration in a couple of the cylinder bores and sharp rilfing in barrels
One is a Saw Handle Model 3 in 38RF no serial which there are a few out there that dont have a serial number
they were thought to be factory thefts at the time or salesman samples
it is missing the small lifter arm to rotate cylinder (any competent gunsmith can make a new one)other wise mechanics are excellent
there is small chip on right grip on the bottom ...nickle is 98%+ a very nice example..gun is overall very clean ....very sharp rifling in barrel and some darkening on end of cylinder from firing
Other is a model 1 in 30RF...smooth tight action and excellent cylinder indexing
Nickle is 98%+...there is some slight nickle loss on very end of cylinder on a few cylinders from gun being fired... gun is overall very clean so i dont think it was shot a super lot...very sharp rifling in barrel and serial is stamped twice on edge of grip frame of 2487...very slight darkening on firing end of cylinder
They come in custom mahogany felt lined display case with keys and each one has a brass info plate with brass plate on top of box
