For those that know enough to care,,, this is what a real new in the box Model 70 is supposed to look like!
Pre 64 Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in favorite .270 Win. caliber.
S/N 407803 with matching bolt made in 1957.
This rifle remains in 99-100% pristine condition throughout and has all the right "stuff": Aluminum butt, beautiful wood with wide checkering, etc.
Genuine in all regards including box, label, and all of the paperwork and hang tags instead of the fake guns and contrived crap we often see. The box does have some broken corners with a bit of tape but is also in outstanding shape given its age.
You won't find a better one than this.
