Offered here on consignment is a rare Special order Marlin model 31, 16 ga "B or C" grade. These special order guns were hand engraved by George Ulrich, hand rubbed oil finish on "finest Circissian Walnut" and very finely checkered. Also fitted with a "Special Smokeless Steel" Matted barrel. Wood is in excellent condition, Over all steel is 80 to 90% original Blue with freckles of rust especially on the underside and a little on the barrel.
