NSN, made in 1863, .58 caliber, 40"" round proofed rifled barrel. Barrel and other iron parts are a dark brown patina with scattered surface oxidation visible. Barrel and lock are dated 1863, bore is good with strong rifling noted. Stock has nicks, dings and a few gouges from handling and usage wear, cartouche is present. Action holds at half and full cock. Consignment.
