Description:
30-1/4 inch round barrel. Trigger guard and buttplate are brass. The rest of the metal is brown with some rough areas. Lock plate is marked with a crown and "1863 Tower". There is some sort of markings on the left side of the barrel just forward of the breech. Sight slots have been filled. Wood is in fairly good condition with typical handling dings. The right side of the buttstock has what looks to be pin pokes. This old gun would be right at home above the fireplace.
