Description:
Bolt action single shot rifle chambered in 22 S., L. and LR. 27-inch round barrel with a fine bore. A nice piece of history that also doubles as an excellent starter gun as it served my for my five grandkids. Original sights include a hooded ramped front sight and a receiver mounted rear aperture peep sight. Barrel retains about 95% bright blue. Original walnut stock has some very light handling mars. This gun is in exemplary condition given its age and intended use...just compare it to others for sale. Nice functioning action. Originally sold by Winchester from 1934 to 1945. This particular gun was likely made in 1934 as the finger grooves in the stock were omitted starting in mid-1935. Price, $425 plus shipping. No trades. Check or money order.
