Description:
The  Sterlingworth Gun Company, Philadelphia, PA was predecessor to the A H Fox, Gun Company. It is a very early model known as a “Pin Gun”.  because the hinge pin is recessed like that found on Parker guns. As a matter of fact, Parker Bros. sued Fox over this feature and Fox quit using it. Mechanically it is exactly like the Sterlingworth model by A H Fox, Co. This gun has 12 ga 30” fluid compressed steel barrels with mint bores choked full & full. It functions perfectly, locks up tight as a vault and the top lever is far to the right.  It is in beautiful condition with a replacement stock and gorgious new casecolors. It has double triggers and extractors. Great dimensions: LOP is 14”, DC is 1 ½”, & DH is 2 ½”. Serial number 51027 was made the in 1910 the first year of production. “PinGuns” are collectable.  And this one will make someone a great shooter.
