Handsome Example of A colt 1861 Navy Model ! Civil War . Serial number 14801 . All matching numbers. Most of all the original finish still remaining on barrel and cylinder. turning a blue brown patina ! Cylinder has most of all the scenes but worn . Scene is week. Strong Barrel address remaining . Frame has traces of original case colors remaining thinning to a Smokey grey patina.,traces of silver in hidden area on brass trigger guard and back strap . Original Walnut grips are in very good original condition showing some original finish stil remaining. Bore and mechanics are in very good condition! Cylinder has all the nipples in very good condition. Gun locks up tight and is in excellent working condition ! Overall a very nice example of a honest Civil War Colt Model 1861 Navy !
