Description:
Excellent condition NIB Colt 1776-1976 Bi-Centennial set of 3 Colt revolvers with original shipping boxes, chest of walnut fitted drawers, and the Armsmear book by Sam Colt.
The guns are truly exceptional, in New In Box condition, unfired, uncocked and unturned, screws unturned, all as new. No handling marks, perfect finishes, grips as new. The walnut grips feature the Presidential Seal on left side, the gun cylinders are tastefully rollmarked with historical scenes. Each gun is marked with Bicentennial 1776-1976 information.
Each gun will ship in it's original Colt box with intact styrofoam packing, cards/booklets, and sleeve. The boxes show some shelf-wear from long-term storage. There is a Colt keychain-type screwdriver tool, with 3 drivers on it fitting the screws of the guns. Also small Colt booklets called Handling the Hangun, the Dragoon comes with a folder about Colt cap and ball revolvers.
The Sam Colt book is in VG+ condition, leather binding Excellent, 1 handling mark, small scrape in the gilt-edge of the pages about 1" long. Book appears unread. There is some shelf wear from sitting.
The walnut chest of drawers is excellent, with 1 small flaw in that the RF foot was slightly damaged in shipping to me. The finish is original oil finish walnut in beautiful condition.

I believe this edition was limited to 1776 sets, made in 1976. The drawer key will ship with the guns. A fine Colt collectibe in exceptional complete condition.
