Description: 1915 Colt New Service Target chambered in .455 Eley with a 7.5 inch barrel and factory original high polish oven blue finish. Per the included Colt archive letter it was shipped to Toronto, Ontario, Canada March 3, 1915. This is a very high condition all original survivor. The finish still retains a dark mirror shine throughout. All of the leading edges are sharp and the grip straps are exceptional. As seen in the photos it only shows the slightest of superficial handling and overall the finish rates 98% +. The action is crisp, the lock up is tight, and the bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. The factory original Fluer de Lis grips are exceptional with sharp checkers throughout. This revolver is 109 years old. Upgrading it will be a tough task.
