1894 Colt Model 1889 Navy Revolver chambered in 38 Colt with a 4.5 inch barrel and factory nickel finish. Per the included Colt archive letter it was shipped to St. Louis, Missouri November 1, 1894. This is quite possibly the finest antique nickel 1889 Navy in existence. The original finish remains brilliant and mirror like throughout. The fire blue small parts are still brilliant. As seen in the photos it only shows very light and superficial handling. Overall the finish rates 98%. The cylinder face, recoil shield, and forcing cone are very clean with no signs of use. The action is crisp, the lock up is tight, and the bore is bright and shiny with strong lands and grooves. The factory grips remain in perfect condition with sharp checkers throughout. If you want the best this one is for you.
