Description:
1915 WORLD WAR I LUGER DWM 9x19mm Parabellum GERMAN MILITARY Pistol WW1

Iconic WWI German Military Sidearm!

Here we present a World War I “1915” Dated Model 1914 Luger Semi-Automatic Pistol, made in 1915 by DWM in Berlin, Germany. Basing his design off Hugo Borchardt’s seminal C93, Georg Luger successfully brought Borchardt’s work to practical fruition. While finding buyers for the C93 seemed an exercise in futility, the new Luger Pistol found many countries eager to test it and even adopt it. There are many variations in this field of collecting, but relatively few major changes in overall design from beginning to end.
The Luger is certainly one of the most iconic firearms in history, made so by its association with Germany during both World Wars. The top of the chamber is Great War dated “1915”. The top of the toggle is marked “DWM”. The right side of the frame bears German military acceptance marks.

The overall condition is very good. The action is robust. The bore is bright. Both grips are in good shape with the checkering remaining sharp. The numbers match on the barrel, receiver, frame, trigger, sear, safety, extractor, top of the toggle, and both grips, but there is a different number (95) on both the rear of the toggle and the takedown lever. Here is an excellent example of German WWI history to collect and display.
