A beautiful custom 243 built by Paul Jaeger Inc of Jenkintown,Pa in the mid 1970s. Built on a Sako L579 action,this rifle is in mint condition retaining 100% of the metal and wood finishes. Custom features include: deep relief oak leaf engraving with gold wire and gold lnlay of a woodchuck on the floorplate,trigger guard,and grip cap. A Douglas premium 26" barrel. An incredible stock of very highly figured European walnut with a slim beavertail forend. Blackburn bottom metal. Very fine checkered wrap around checkering on forend and grip. Engine turned bolt with checkered bolt handle. Sako bases and 1" rings. Gold initial oval with the intitals "EO" engraved. The ultimate varmint rifle from one of the classic custom builders of our time. A true work of gunmaking art. C&R eligible. Price includes shipping to your FFL.
