Description:
Winchester model 42 410 field gun, mod choke, 26" barrel with original box. Gun still has the original shipping grease, dried and stiff. The pictures of the gun show dust that can barely be seen by the naked eye. While the Box is in poor condition, it is original to the gun SN 161940 (1961). Side plate blue is slightly different than the receiver, see page 23 of Ned Schwing's book "The Winchester Model 42" for an explanation of the bluing process.
