Serial #NSN, 12 Gauge (2 ¾ inch chamber), 26 ¾ inch vent-rib barrel equipped with the J.C. Higgins Power Pak recoil reducing choke system with Medium Range tube installed having an excellent bore. This is the J.C. Higgins, Sears Roebuck and Co. marked Model 20, part #583.60 pump action shotgun manufactured by High Standard in the 1950s. The deluxe model features an elaborate hand engraved receiver with a duck in flight surrounded by elaborate scroll on both sides covering about 90%, checkered wood and a blank aluminum escutcheon. The rugged pump saw regular use and retains about 70-75% blue toning to gray-brown with numerous use marks and scratches. The checkered stock and forearm remain solid with old use marks, mild bruises and contusions. The action functions properly with tight lock up. A scarce J.C. Higgins Model 20. FFL or C&R;
