This is a well kept Marlin model 39M Golden Mountie from 1978. It chambers the 22 S,L,LR cartdrige interchangeably. This Marlin lever action 22 is a smooth high quality little rifle. This rifle has all original finishes, that are in great condition for being over 45 years old. Pic. 15 shows a couple small impression blems to the stock. All the script, S/N's, and JM proof mark remain crystal clear. This is the less encountered 39M Mountie, with the 20" barrel. It has a mint bore, and all original sight package.
