Description:
Parker DHE 12 gauge SxS shotgun. Originally made by Parker Brothers, Meridan, CT in 1913 the book shows that this gun left the factory with 32", 12 gauge, double triggers, straight grip stock. NOW it is configured as a trap gun. I think that Remington did most of the work. There are Remington repair stamps on the barrel flats, and the beautiful Monte Carlo buttstock has a Parker/Remington grip cap and the beavertail foream matches exactly. Also installed is a Miller single selective trigger with frame stamped "R". Then the vent rib..I don't know if Remington installed the vent rib or not, however it is very possible!
The end result is a Parker DHE, 32" vent rib trap gun.
#2 frame with nice, sharp D grade engraving. Little to no remaining case colors.
32" vent rib barrels with 2 3/4" chambers, .735" bore and .040" XF choke in both barrels. Bores are perfect
The beautifully grained Walnut Buttstock has a 14" Length of pull; 1 3/8" drop at comb; 1 3/8" drop at Monte Carlo and 2" drop at the heel with neutral cast. Note it has a rather "thick" grip!
The gun is tight and weighs 8 lbs. 7 oz. This gun would make a great gun for Vintage shoots
