This Browning Model 1885 is a single shot falling block action rifle in .45-70 Gov't. Cal. It has a 28 inch octagon barrel. A hooded post front sight and a Williams adjustable aperture rear sight. The butt stock is a checkered grip walnut straight grip. The forearm is a checkered grip walnut. Made in Japan. .45-70 Government
