This listing is for my two Winchester Model 70 books. I collected Model 70's from 1970 through about 15 years ago. Due to my age, I have sold all the rifles and now am letting my books go also.
First is my THE RIFLEMAN'S RIFLE by Roger Rule. Although I have read it through several times, I always handled it very carefully because it is such a beautiful book and because it was a gift from my wife. The book remains in 99% original condition. The only writing in the book is where my wife dedicated it on the blank side of the front fly page.
The second book is THE MODEL 70 WINCHESTER 1937-1964 by Dean Whitaker. It is a signed copy by the author. It is also in excellent condition with the exception of a few white spots on the lower part of the back of the book where it looks like it was set down on something. There is no writing in the book and it remains in 98% original condition, the subtraction due to the small white spots on the back.
It is difficult to price this set, as a set runs from $500 to $900 on one site and $1400 on another site today. I feel that $400 including shipping is a very fair price for this set.
Payment must be by USPS Money Order and shipping is prepaid to the U. S. only, via USPS Priority Mail.
