Payment Types Accepted: Postal Money Order Description: This SAKO rifle is beleived to be a factory SPECIAL ORDERED custom rifle in 280 caliber. In the time period that the S/N indicates, this was not a factory available caliber. You could have an L61R action fit with a caliber of your choice, and custom stocked to your preference. This is 3X wood that was ordered with a rosewood fore end and pistol grip cap, as well as high gloss finish and checkering delete. This rifle has custom monogram initials on the pistol grip cap. The finish on the stock is nearly flawless, save for a few minor blems here and there (pic.11 and 13). The blue is deluxe Sako high gloss, and remains in near perfect condition for a rifle built some 50 years ago. The recoil pad is a "White Line" Presentation Model from Pachmayer. The bore is excellent in the 25" barrel, and the action works smooth, like any typical Sako. This was undoubtedly a very expensive build in the late 60's, and remains in exceptional condition. $2200.00 TOTAL Shipped and insured through UPS to your FFL from my FFL, in the lower 48 states.
