***SOLD*** Excellent example of the scarce and highly coveted Model 70 Super Grade in beloved 270 caliber.
S/N 96049 with matching scribed bolt made in 1948.
97-98% original finishes throughout with a few minor marks.
All correct and original SG components including deluxe grade wood with the more elaborate wrap around checkering, pancake cheekpiece, and contrasting bakelite tip, along with correct Redfield front sight, properly stamped floorplate, and robust detachable swivels.
24" barrel with an excellent bore. All mechanical functions are smooth and working properly as well.
There are getting to be very few good Super Grades out there, and fewer yet that are as nice as this one.
