Synopsis: Smith & Wesson, Full House Devel, Model 39-2, A534418, FB00848 Description: Scarce and immediately recognizable Devel customization of S&W M39-2 in satin nickel finish. Modified by Charles Kelsey of Devel, these pistols laid the foundation of many features that we now take for granted in today’s compact carry guns. Popularized by author Rex Applegate, these Devels have nearly a cult following. This example, #216 as reflected by the stamped digits following the serial number, has shortened slide and frame with each smooth panel with clear central window having a red enameled Devel emblem. Hard chromed bobbed hammer and reduced frame spur. For better reliability, Devel use Wolfe springs. Standard S&W rear sight, front sight smoothed with recess for paint, this one red. Polished barrel feed ramp, lowered ejection port, and fined tune for reliability. Devel customize magazine with dual pinned finger extension base. Complete with a blue plastic S&W box for a later model pistol. Condition: VG+ original condition with holster wear/handling marks/light scuffs. The left grip screw is burred with a hairline crack extending across the transparent panel. Comparable condition magazine. Excellent bore. Perfect manual mechanics. G condition box.
