US Springfield 1870 50-70 caliber army rifle. The functioning lock is marked U S Springfield with the American eagle and dated 1864. Full 2 band dark walnut stock is in good condition. The breach block is marked 1870 US with the eagle head. All metal parts have a dark brown patina. The full length 32.5" barrel has a good bore. the rifl is complete with sling swivels and original cleaning rod. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
