Offered for sale is a seldom encountered WW2 manufactured Hi-Standard Model HD. These pistols were made to help train US Military personnel on marksmanship with handguns, namely the M1911a1. This example is the late varation and is parkerized. Marked US Property and has the crossed cannons cartouche. New and unissued. The box is original to the gun and in equally mint condtion. You just never see these guns in boxes. Inside the box you will find an original instruction sheet and two other inspection papers. The box is numbered to this gun. You will look a long time before you find one of these in the box and in mint condtion.
