Offered for sale is a near perfect example of the Winchester Model 12 Trench Shotgun. Shotguns this nice rarely come up for sale outside of the big houses these days. This is a no excuse original finish shotgun. The blue finish is spectacular! The stock is almost untouched and the cartouche is perfect. These later guns had an oil finish rather than the earlier varnished finish. Absolutely correct for this shotgun. The bore is mint. The numbers match on the receiver and the barrel extension. You will not see a nicer Model 12 Trench on the market anytime soon.
