1961 dated Australian Lithgow L1A1. Serial number puts it in the Malay contract range. This is not a kit build rifle. No import marks. Batch numbers are correct. Matching numbers on bolt, carrier, upper, and lower receiver. Barrel is original and correctly marked. Hanguards, butt stock, carry handle, and rear sight are Canadian. A very seldom seen example of an earlier production Australian L1A1.
