Description:
The Ithaca Model 37 DEERSLAYER was made from 1959 to 1986. The guns were fitted with smooth bores, fixed choked, rifle sights (this one has a orange high viz front), walnut stock and forearm, blue finished, and chambered in either 12, 16, or 20 Gauge. This MDEERSLAYER is as described and is fitted with a 26 inch barrel choked Improved Cylinder and chambered in 16 Gauge. The shotgun is in excellent original condition, retaining 80-85% original blue, with most loss due to high edge wear and loss on the magazine tube due to cycling of the action. The forearm looks as new and the stock retains all of its original finish, with only a few very minor handling marks. The black plastic Ithaca butt-plate fits well and is in good condition, with assorted handling marks/dings. The bore is bright and the action functions perfectly. Sorry, no box or paper-work.
