This larger ring, 98 stock has got a lot of color contrast and figure it would make a nice custom rifle blank. I am left-handed and was going to takeoff the cheek piece but is too nice. Checkering is perfect and well executed. Looks like there's a few handling marks, but nothing to noticeable, as a classic steel pistol, drip cap , ended with a Pac Meyer butt pad, barrel channel goes from 1 1/8"to under 7/8
