Description:
General Specs: Beretta, Year 1969, 12 Gauge, 7lbs. 3oz., Chokes M/F, LOP 14 7/8", DAH 2 1/2", DAC 1 1/2"
Serial Number: 34219
Here we have a gun that is rarely seen, has all the best options, and was made in the day when Beretta double guns were still hand fit, hand engraved, and hand checkered.  The Beretta GR-4 was a higher grade than their entry level guns, shipped with Beretta’s fine single selective trigger, ejectors, figured walnut, beavertail forend, 70% coverage of fine scroll, and a ventilated rib.  Today Beretta side x side guns in similar grades to the GR-4 cost well over $4500 and are laser engraved and checkered.  The new guns just don’t compare to the vintage models.  This gun, serial number 34219 built in 1969, is IN NEAR NEW, 99% FACTORY CONDITION.  Weighing just 7lbs. 3oz. and balanced perfectly on the hinge pin with the 28” M/F barrels, this gun is ready for another half of century of service.  The specifications are below that will tell you all the details, and the photos will tell the rest of the story.  The gun is in perfect mechanical condition, bores are excellent, barrels are tight on the hinge pin and breech face like a new gun, and the wood is solid and in excellent condition.  Details like a scalloped action, jeweled water table and barrel flats, and even having gas vents at the firing pins are not seen on entry level guns.  These are high-grade features.  Whether you chase upland game, waterfowl, turkey, or high-flying doves, or choose to crush clay targets with classic guns, or all of the above, this fine Beretta will serve you well and only increase in value as long as you care for the gun well.  We have priced this gun to be one of the best deals for a fine Italian side x side shotgun on the internet, so don’t hesitate to call the office and maker her yours.  Thanks for looking.
