Vintage Firearms Inc is pleased to offer this World War II classic! A true British made Jungle Carbine. This example was manufactured in 1945 at the Birmingham Small Arms factory. It is serial numbered BD8204 on the stock band and the forend, the bolt has a different serial number. The action has lightening cuts, and the barrel is fluted at the receiver ring adding up to a carbine that weighs a handy 7lbs. 5oz. The barrel has Birmingham Nitro Proof (BNP) marks, a mirror bore and retains its bayonet lug. The furniture is in excellent condition, featuring a capped forend and rubber buttpad. The carbine has a MK1 ladder rear sight with worm gear adjustment and is calibrated to 800 yards. A useful full power hunting carbine and a great piece of history. Thanks for looking!
