Description:
This is a very clean Colt Single Action Army revolver with 4.75" barrel, hard rubber grips, blue and case, and in .32 WCF caliber (serial #310845). It was shipped to Salt Lake Hardware, Salt Lake City, Utah, August 31, 1909, as a one gun shipment. The blue finish is fading and worn through on the left side of the barrel. It also has a bare spot as the result of some sort of stain on one portion of the cylinder, visible on the right side picture. Case colors are visible in protected areas. The grips are in extremely good condition and the gun is clean and almost free of any pitting. It is mechanically good (all four clicks and three notches) with a very good bore. It was probably carried quite a bit, but looked after and not abused.
It is housed in a very nice double loop, basket weave carved, rawhide laced heavy leather holster made by H. H. Heiser, Denver, Colorado.
