Description:
Introduced as the "Centennial Rifle" in 1876, the Model 1876 was a larger-framed, more powerful version of the Model 1873. Chambered in multiple big bore cartridges. This barrel was reblued at one time and the stamping is not visible for the cartridge. Possibly a 45-60 or 45-75. The action is tight and strong, has a ladder sight instead of open buckhorn sights.
