SN: 5692710. Made in 1955 with a 24-inch barrel chambered for the .30-06 cartridge. This post-Korean War H&R Garand is equipped with an H&R barrel with a bright bore that was made in October 1955, an H&R bolt, the T105E1 fully adjustable rear sight assembly, a milled Springfield Armory trigger guard & a radius cut Springfield operating rod. The buttstock is post-war USGI with a National Defense acceptance cartouche on the left side just above the trigger & a circle serif P on the pistol grip. The front & rear handguards are matching in color & quality in so far as they exhibit the dents, dings & scratches consistent with military service.
