Description:
Serial #80-04516, .44 Magnum, 7.5 inch barrel with an excellent bore. This is an Old Model Super Blackhawk revolver, model #00801, manufactured by Ruger in November of 1969 that was later upgraded to a factory Ruger Brass frame, part #MR-3DB (marked on the interior) with Silver Eagle Ruger Logo grips that became available in 1971. In excellent overall condition the barrel, frame and cylinder retain about 87-90% of the original high polish blue finish faded to gray along the high edges especially the muzzle and leading edge of the cylinder. The walnut grips rate excellent. The brass grip frame shows light use marks with a bright, mellow patina. Mechanically it functions properly with a tight lock up. A very nice example of the Super Blackhawk with the scarce Ruger OEM brass frame upgrade. FFL or C&R
