FOR SALE: first year production Winchester rifle with three (3) digit serial number in a 32/40 caliber rifle.
This rifle has lost most of it's finish, turning gray. Wood stock & forearm are in good condition - no cracks or damage, just handling marks. Barrel is in good condition, dirty bore with strong rifling -
may clean up!
The 32/40 caliber was the 'Hot Rod' cartridge of it's day, achieving 1400 to 1600 F.P.S with 160 grain bullet.
