Description:
This World War II double action revolver is a Smith and Wesson "Victory" model chambered in .38 S&W Ctg. It has a 5-inch barrel, a case-hardened serrated trigger, a case-hardened finely checkered hammer, a fixed rounded blade front sight, a fixed groove square notch rear sight, a lanyard loop, and a fluted cylinder. The left side of the top strap is marked with a flaming bomb and "U.S. Property G.H.D." The top left side of the frame has a "P" proof mark. The serial number marked on the bottom of the grip frame is V451391. The parkerized finish is in very good to excellent condition, with no rust and with only minimal wear or handling marks visible. Likewise, the wood grips are in generally very good condition, with minimal wear or handling marks. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling intact. .38 S&W
